UGC urges to implement e-documentation activities in universities
The Bangladesh University Grants Commission (UGC) has called for exhilarating the implementation of e-document activities in the country's universities to increase the speed, transparency and accountability of official work. At the 4th meeting of UGC's e-Governance and Innovation Action Plan 2021-2022 implementation progress review meeting, on Sunday, the commission member and convener of the innovation team, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Alamgir made this call.
In his address to the meeting, Prof. Alamgir emphasized the importance of innovation, enhancement of capacity in service facilitation and enhancing one's skills in changing circumstances to make higher education related services easily available. He called upon the concerned people to fulfill their responsibilities with dedication to provide quality services and service facilitation to reduce the suffering of service seekers in higher education institutions.
The meeting discussed the progress of implementation of e-Governance and Innovation Action Plan 2021-2022 from July 2021 to March 2022, 9 months of progress implementation and 4 related workshops on what to do to address the challenges of the 4th Industrial Revolution.
